HOODCO Inc. is a family owned and operated business that began with Mike Hood's grandfather and father on St. Charles Rock Road in St. Louis, Missouri, in 1948.  At the original Hood's, you could find a variety of items ranging from automotive supplies to Army surplus. 

Mike Hood began his first "New Generation" Hood's Discount Home Center in House Springs, MO in 1983.  Today Mike owns and operates 8 locations.  Six are located in Missouri: Farmington, Festus, House Springs, Halls Ferry, Sullivan, and Natural Bridge.  One is located in Gulfport, Mississippi.  The 8'th is in Foley, Alabama, where Mr. Hood primarily operates out of. 

Here at the Foley, AL Hood's, you will find something new every time you come in!  We're always rearranging, bringing in new product, and trying to improve the shopping-experience for our customers.  You will find a range of products from kitchen cabinets, to wood, laminate, and tile flooring, to custom doors and countertops, to trim, to concrete stone products, to decorative door-knockers and hooks and other novelty items.  It is out of the Foley location that Riviera Stone is operated, which is the division of Hood's that produces the concrete stone products which range from pavers, balusters, and other architectural items, to fireplace surrounds and mantels, to plaques and wildlife items such as frogs, turtles, and pelicans.  Hood's of Foley, AL has the largest selection of in-stock, all-wood kitchen cabinets, ceramic and porcelain tile, and glazed, decorative ceramic pottery, of anyone in the area.
