HOODCO Inc. is a family owned and operated business that began with Mike Hood's grandfather and father on St. Charles Rock Road in St. Louis, Missouri, in 1948.  At the original Hood's, you could find a variety of items ranging from automotive supplies to Army surplus. Today you can find a variety of items for home improvement and home decor. Customers will enjoy the large variety of items that are constantly changing and the great selection of flooring, Cabinets, vanities, and other items that we always keep in stock. At Hood's Discount Home Center we strive to provide customers with the best customer service possible and ensure a great shopping experience every time you come in.  

Mike Hood began his first "New Generation" Hood's Discount Home Center in House Springs, MO in 1983.  Today Mike owns and operates seven locations.  Five are located in Missouri: Farmington, Festus, House Springs, Sullivan, and Natural Bridge.  One is located in Gulfport, Mississippi.  The eighth is in Foley, Alabama, where Mr. Hood primarily operates out of.
